The Scalpel’s rear triangle design utilizes carbon fiber optimized as the next generation of “Living Hinge”. The front triangle
of the Scalpel Team is full monocoque, unidirectional carbon fiber – optimized for superior handling. The Cannondale
Vredestein team thought, "Why would you want to change something that’s perfect?" Cannondale’s engineers asked,
"What would make the Scalpel better?" The team responded, "More travel, lighter, stiffer." Done.
“Having taken more World Cup victories than any other full suspension bike on the circuit, the Scalpel is a highly regarded
